Organized by University of Hong Kong Techno Entrepreneur Center (HKU TEC),Techo-Entrepreneurship Academy(HKU TEA) and Bay Charm (the incubation arm of Shenzhen Bay Laboratory),and sponsored by various industry partners,the MedTech Hackathon GBA 2026 aims to provide research teams with a platform to:

1.Connect with a range of healthcare and life sciences investors, corporate support, and additional incubation programs.

2. Participate in a multidisciplinary training course (Lean Launcher),beginning with a bootcamp,followed by pairing each team with a mentor for four (4) to six (6) weeks of coaching and mentorship.

3.Visit to Guangzhou International Bioland,Suzhou Industrial Park and Shenzhen Guangming Science City (optional) to deepen understanding and foster collaboration on real-world situations in the field.

4.The project will have the opportunity to showcase at the Asia Summit of Global Health in Hong Kong on May 11–12,where a competitive pitch presentation will take place.
