HAI-Q: Hyper/Super AI Questions Initiative
Purpose of HAI-Q
The purpose of HAI-Q is to explore people’s interests, concerns, and perceptions of key issues related to the future prospects of artificial intelligence (AI).
How to Participate
HAI-Q is open to adults aged 18 years or older worldwide. Participants will be asked to submit one to three open-ended questions concerning important issues, challenges, or future prospects related to AI. Participation is voluntary. You may stop completing the questionnaire at any time before submitting your questions, without providing a reason and without any disadvantage.
Use of the Collected Data
The submitted questions and related responses will be analyzed using methods such as natural language processing, large language models (LLMs), and qualitative analysis conducted by the researchers. The results may be used in academic publications, conference presentations, and research reports. The submitted questions or responses may be quoted or summarized in research outputs. However, any information that could directly identify you will not be included.
Collection and Management of Email Addresses
Your email address will be collected to prevent duplicate submissions and to enable you to request the withdrawal of your submitted questions after submission. Email addresses will be stored separately from the questionnaire responses and will not be included in the analysis. They will not be disclosed in publications or other research outputs, and individual participants will not be identified.
To request the withdrawal of your submitted questions, please contact the researcher at haiq.init@gmail.com. Please note that withdrawal will no longer be possible after the data have been published in academic journals or conferences.
This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Review Committee on Research with Human Subjects at Waseda University, Japan (Approval No. 2026-350).
